SaviBank Adds New Member to Its Board Of Directors
Long-time Oak Harbor Resident and Business Owner Ron Wallin Elected.
Burlington, Washington, March 24, 2016 – SaviBank, headquartered in Burlington, Washington, announced today that it has elected Ron Wallin as SaviBank’s newest member of its Board of Directors.
Ron Wallin is the owner of P&L General Contractors, Inc. (P&L). He started working for P&L as a laborer in 1973, with promotions to project superintendent and project manager until 1996, when Wallin purchased P&L. Since that time, P&L has grown to 32 employees, with offices in Oak Harbor and Bremerton. P&L works throughout the Northwest in both the private sector and on government contracts at NAS Whidbey Island, NBK Bremerton, NBK Bangor and JBLM.
Wallin, also well known for his civic leadership, has been involved with several professional and community boards, including recent board membership with the Big Brother Big Sisters of Island County, and as an elected Commissioner for Whidbey General Hospital.
He is also active as a Rotary Club past president, member and volunteer, with participation in delivering 280 wheelchairs to Yukatan Peninsula Mexico in 2011, and installing water filters and latrines in Honduras in 2012.
